Miniml from ThemeLab is a unique Wordpress template providing lots of power.
Firstly there is a choice of 9 different color choices - aqua, red, green, orange, black, purple, yellow, blue, pink.
There is also optional Gravatar display on comments, WordPress tag support on single post pages and 4 widget-ready sidebars.
But the really powerful part is this templates ability to have a featured post and also have the most recent posts of your categories shown on your home page. This allows you to get your visitors to travel deep within your blog and discover a much broader range of your content.

The Motion WordPress Theme by ThemeLab has a very unique user interface. This 1 column (that’s right, ONE column) free template may not suit too many blogs however if it does it will give you one very unique WordPress site.
This WordPress theme has no comments, no pages, no single posts, no sidebar, no widgets, no Gravatars - nothing but a one column main index template.
There are three blocks of content per page that expand on a single click and contract when another is opened. If you have more than 3 posts a link is provided to access the older entries.
It’s a very attractive template combing orange, silver, and black.

Colourise by Styleshout.com is a bright free Wordpress template for your blog which really standsout. The colors are very bright, however in combination with the black background, they don’t overpower your content.

WP CODA Orange
WP CODA Orange features a unique navigation system whereby the pages slide left-to-right. By default it’s for a blog with pages only (not posts) however I small change can make it handle posts instead.
Everything is included in the download so despite having a number of dependancies, it’s extremely easy to install and have up and running.

Fervens is another high quality free WordPress theme released by SmashingMagazine. The theme was designed by Elena Gafita of Design Disease. It’s a 3-column layout with the option of three different layouts allowing you to decide whether the main content should appear in the left, middle or right column.
Predominately green, the theme also features blue and orange.
